During the year we have a number of guest speakers talking on relevant and stimulating topics, often requested or chosen by our group. These talks only happen at certain meetings and there are alternatives to listening to the talks, for example an opportunity to be in the small groups all evening if you prefer.
The talk that receives the most positive feedback with such encouraging first-rate comments is John’s session (John is one of our committee members). His talk is called ‘Am I going Crazy’. It explores the many expected and unexpected effects of grief. It is a most enjoyable and beneficial presentation, delivered in a simple yet very impactful way. Many people have come back to hear this presentation twice and three times, need I say more!
The support group might not be your ‘cup of tea’, but the presentation probably will, so come along and find out.
Due to the social distancing requirements, we ask that you book your place by ringing 01482 461260. If the demand increases and numbers still need to be limited, we will increase the number of times this presentation is delivered during the year.
The dates for this talk and others will be shown in the news section of the website as and when they are available.
